Went shopping with 'girl next door'

Here is another one of my Facebook notes.

Here goes the note


Mom told me to get a packet of 'ghee' and 'maida' from the shop nearby.

As I was about to leave, the 'girl next door' came out.. And Mom was like - "Jimi, you're going out? Take this fellow with you else he will rot sitting infront of his laptop whole day". She looked at me.. "Bola phuri ahun'ge.."

 

I nodded. On the way, she called her father "Papa, mu' ahu'te deri hobo". Little did I know what 'shopping' meant for girls. First target-Maxmart.. jewellery section. After trying on bangles for half an hour, Jimi is convinced that for her those have to be ordered from heaven. Same was the story with the design store. And the shop where she checked out different nailpolishes..

Damn I ended up scanning 15-20 shops with her in a span of three hours. Best of all, she bought absolutely nothing but still carried the content look as if she'd looted the whole of Naharlagun today. On the way back I bought the ghee and maida. I was dead tired
